France hails moroccan authorities’ ‘prompt mobilisation’ after bus accident in marrakech

Paris – France commended on Friday the promptness and quality of Moroccan authorities following the traffic accident which took place on Thursday evening in Marrakech, involving a bus transporting French nationals.
France « warmly thanks the Moroccan authorities for the promptness and quality of their mobilisation and their support in these painful moment,s the spokesman for the French foreign ministry said.
He regretted the death of a French woman in this accident which involved the tourist bus and another bus, leaving eight French nationals injured, who were « immediately hospitalized ».
Among the wounded, « three people were admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. They were treated and are expected to be back to France once their condition makes it possible, » he added.
