By Madison on mar 13, 2010

Rabat – Morocco and Greece agreed to set up a bilateral business council to consolidate their bilateral economic relations, a statement of Morocco’s Embassy in Athena said on Friday.

This decision was taken during the meetings held between Morocco’s State Secretary to the Foreign ministry Latifa Akharbach, who is on a work visit in Athena, and Greek Foreign minister deputies Dimitris Droutsas and Spyros Kouvelis.

During these talks, the two parties underlined that the Advanced Status granted to the Kingdom opens promising prospects in the Moroccan-EU relations, notably between Morocco and Greece.

The two countries underlined that their views converge regarding several regional and international issues, particularly those related to the Mediterranean region.
