Niger’s delegation received by hm the king came to morocco ‘on information mission,’ col. moussi

Tétouan – The Niger delegation, who were received on Thursday by HM king Mohammed VI, came to Morocco on « an information mission, following the incidents which took place in the country on February 18th, » said Colonel Hassan Moussi, chief of staff of Niger’s air force and member of the Supreme Council for the Restoration of Democracy.

    Colonel Moussi, who accompanied Mahamane Laouali Dan Dah, minister of secondary and higher education and scientific research, government spokesperson, during the royal audience, said the delegation came to Morocco to inform the king « of what Niger’s forces intend to do » after their accession to power.

    « Needless to recall why national armed forces had to take up their responsibility; what matters for us is to explain to his Majesty what Niger’s forces intend to do now that we are in power, » he told the press following the audience.

    Moussi, who stressed the need to « stabilize the country’s political and economic situation, establish democracy and reconcile the people of Niger, added that « this is what we came to tell His Majesty and mainly to seek his support to help us with this task. »

    Mahamane  Laouali Dan Dah conveyed a message to HM the king from the chairman of the Supreme Council for the Restoration of Democracy, head of state, Salou Djibo.
